We now all know that, unlike some other surgeries, breast augmentation can be performed any time during the year. But is it ok to wait until the sun and the temperature rise to have the breast augmentation?
Yes! And head to the beach? No! 🙂 Even though the recovery period is quite short and easy, you need some time to have breasts you want to show off!
The first couple weeks ( around 4-6 weeks) the new breasts of yours will be tight, high, a little shiny and big! Yasss! You will feel like you are wearing a permanent push up bra. This is the post-op period where you are expected not to perform intense training or cardio due to the increased risk of post-op bleed and also not to soak in still water like sea, pools, SPA, Turkish Bath, etc.. due to the increased risk of infection.
3rd month is the period where you can finally see that your breasts are looking and feeling like a part of your own body as they are softer. Finally, time to figure out what cup size to wear!
Up to 6-9 months numbness or tingles or hypersensitivity especially on the nipples is perfectly fine and also, your breasts look fantastic!
One year 🙂 you are now considered as fully healed, the incisions are considered mature. Even though you can resume your daily activity after the surgery or go back to work, there some “do not’s” that require some consideration. You may have Breast Augmentation 2-3 weeks before your summer vacations and look wonderful at the seaside; however, if you want to swim.. we guess you get the picture right!
Most people think about having Breast Augmentation when the weather starts getting warmer but if you wait until the sun and temperature rise you may have some scheduling issues. With some thought and planning, you can have Breast Augmentation on the right time and be ready to head to the beach..or can fit in your wedding gown!
